Overview
■ PhD, Professor
Profile
Obtained a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Zhejiang University in 2000, worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Protein Engineering and Plant Genetic Engineering at Peking University from 2000 to 2002, and worked as a research scientist at the Department of Biology, University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2012. Engaged in the research on the regulation mechanism of plant genetic development. Published many papers in "Cell", "PNAS" and other magazines. Responsible for the establishment of a new plant molecular genetics and development laboratory. Since the establishment of the laboratory, it has successively won 9 National Natural Science Funds, 1 Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund, and 2 Zhejiang Natural Science Funds, with a total funding of more than 6 million yuan. The laboratory is mainly engaged in the study of the molecular mechanism of plant fertility regulation. In recent years, he has published many papers in internationally renowned journals such as "Plant Cell", "Plant Physiology", "Journal of Experimental Botany", and "Genetics". In 2018, he became the dean of the School of Agriculture and Food Science of Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University.
