      Chu Chengcai is a researcher at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a doctoral supervisor. In 1999, he was selected into the "Hundred Talents Program" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; in 2004, he was selected as one of the first batch of national candidates for the New Century Hundred and Thousand Talents Project; in 2006, he was approved by the State Council to enjoy special government allowances; in 2008, he was awarded the National Outstanding Youth Fund; in 2016, he was selected as the Chinese Academy of Sciences. "Specially-appointed core backbone" researcher, the seventh national outstanding scientific and technological worker, his research team was selected as the key field innovation team of the National Innovation Talent Promotion Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and won the "6th China Overseas Chinese Contribution Award"; selected in 2017 Leading talent in the "Ten Thousand Talents Program" of the Organization Department and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
